Sub 2—>NBT + blog notes

Waterbury, Connecticut

It's been quiet here because on Jan. 1, 1 had a bad fall with serious back injuy. X-rays show no fractues or displaced discs but pain management is a nightmare. Most pain killer drugs are incompatible with the meds I take to control arrhythmia. One that is compatible gave me halucinations of increasing intensity and had to be discontinued. All I've got is a muscle relaxant drug. No idea how long it will take to get back to normal.

I’m sorry to hear of your fall. As we age, they become a real danger as we don’t react as fast and aren’t as pliable. Sounds like an ordeal now but with a foreseeable end. Not much help when your pain, but something to hold onto. Be careful, I still visit every day.

It's trite, but heartfelt nonetheless - get well soon, Carl!

I was getting worried about you, as you hadn’t posted in more than a week. I’m sorry to hear that you’re hurt. Doesn’t sound like the recovery is going to be much fun, either. Sending you good vibes.

I was worried about you as well. Falls can be very serious for those of us in our senior years. Rest up and get well.
