-24°C is impressive - whilst it is uncomfortable to stay outside longer than necessary, that clear air (and sometimes hoarfrost) is always good for out-of-the-ordinary images.
Markus, it's getting to be late afternoon and the highest the temperature has gotten all day is about 14°F. We were out to do some errands and it's really uncomfortable unless you get bundled up in so much clothing that it's difficult to get in and out of the car, or drive it. The "good news" is that it's only predicted to drop to around 8°F overnight. Then they're talking about maybe another foot of snow on Wednesday.
