Blue

Winsted, Connecticut

A grab shot on a sunny afternoon. After the cyclist passed by I became fascinated with the resonance between the strange blue standing-rib metal siding and the thinly clouded sky, all delineated by clear sunlight. The funny building is a duckpin bowling alley.

I really like the lower one, without the bike rider. A study in three colors. And a very nice blue it is, too.

David, this is one of those shots where I'd seen the subject a zillion times without ever quite having it come together, and then on this day it just jumped into the camera for me.
